Impresii
The Organization & Management exam was hard and I am a really bad judge of what I do in exams before I actually recieve the grade so in 15 days I will see what my overworked little brain was able to produce. After the exam I was really relieved and anxious to go to Den Haag and hear Mr. Leonard Orban’s speech. The Huis Clingendael is amazing and it is set in an almost surreal setting with man made ponds and beautiful flora. As I entered the room where we were gathered I soon realized, and with no big surprize, that I was the youngest of all the people there although this did not deter me .I soon met some really interesting people and was able to talk with others form the Romanian Embassy about my idea of starting a Romanian Student Association in The Netherlands. I received positive comments from them and hopefully all these will eventually materialize in the Association itself. The speech that Mr. Orban gave was a good one I reckon and the number of follow-up questions proved that everybody was interested and though highly of the ideas put forward in the address. Mr. Orban has a good command of English but I believe that because of tiredness maybe, he made some mistakes ( grammar-wise). Now I am going to go a bit astray and point out my almost obsession with everything being perfect when I wear a suit. I hate it when I someone with the knot of his tie to the side, I hate it when people’s ties are too long or too short, either resting high up on their belly’s or way over they’re belt buckles. I get almost neurotic when I see hairs on my suit or on someone else’s. In this case, YES, I am a perfectionist. And by the way the perfect length for a tie is when the fat end touches the belt buckle, you would have though that 50 year old men that wore a suit half their lives would know that, maybe they even do but they just don’t bother adjusting the lenght. Anyways back to the Mr. Orban’s address, It was an honour for me to be there and I have to thank the Ambassador of Romania and the Cultural Attache for they’re invite.
